Coming home the other day on an airplane, I had plenty of time to sit and think. I thought it would be funny to know the accidents that I have been involved in. So here is a list. Not sure if it is complete. My next list will be moving violation offenses.

1. 1980 Toyota Carrolla - Hit and Run, Wade Jennings girlfriends car. was identified and later charged with false report and leaving the scene of an accident. served 1 year probation.

2. 1980 Toyota Carrolla - Karen Hedger T-boned me in the school parking lot. This one was not my fault. Reported it to insurance.

3. 1980 Toyota Carrolla - Backed into my Dad's truck in the driveway. He wasn't supposed to be home at that time. He was working night shift, but was home that day. I think this one was his fault

4. 1980 Toyota Carrolla - Lost control of the car on ice on the way to DuPont. Flipped the car twice but drove it home anyway. My accident experience is starting to pay off.

5. 1980 Toyota Carrolla - Went into a curve too fast on snow. Skidded into a telephone pole. Smashed the front end.

6. 1980 Toyota Carrolla - Unknown accident. Discovered damage to car after night out drinking with Rick Carrillo. Driver's side mirror was broke and a scratch the length of the car. I really don't know what happened here I guess I never will

7. 1989 Chevy Blazer - Side swiped guard rail coming home from party in Princess Anne. Combination alcohol and sleep.

8. 1989 Chevy Blazer - Backed into a telephone pole in VA TECH parking lot. I don't think it was there when I pulled in.

9. 1989 Chevy Blazer - Side swiped a Jersey Wall coming home from Baja Beach club in Baltimore. Broke the mirror and scratched the side.

10. 1989 Chevy Blazer - Backed into cement column in parking garage in Ocean City. I had a truck load of people - my concentration was shot.

11. 1989 Chevy Blazer - Backed into a van leaving Seacrets in Ocean City. Did not go through insurance. This one cost me some money

12. 1989 Chevy Blazer - Fell asleep at the wheel and clocked a speed limit sign in the median of Route 13 in Delaware coming home from a Co-op party. It's a straight road with nothing to see. Could have happened to anyone.

13. 1989 Chevy Blazer - Had wheels stolen at college park in Blacksburg. Not really an accident but goes with my luck

14. 1989 Chevy Blazer - Rear ended a girl on main street in Blacksburg. Tried to settle without insurance but she wanted to take me for a ride so I ended up reporting the accident a month and a half later. Result - I was cancelled from Nationwide.

15. 1993 Ford Probe - Man ran a red light and T-boned me on Forest road in Annapolis the very next day that I got my perman ent tags. He lied to the police and said I ran the light so it ended up being a no fault and we both paid

16. 1993 Ford Probe - Fell asleep and rear ended a boat on Route 50 in Annapolis. Boats don't belong on the highway so I'm not at fault here.

17. 1993 Ford Probe - Rear ended a woman on 695 in Baltimore. Not a separate insurance claim because an adjuster had not verified my damage from above accident so I got a two for one special

18. 1993 Ford Probe - Was backed into by my neighbor at Avenel Gardens in Silver Spring. Could have probably prevented this one if I had backed up instead of looking for my horn

19. 1993 Ford Probe - Spoiler blew off the car on Route 95 between Baltimor and Washington. Not really an accident just more bad car luck.

20. 1993 Ford Probe - Tried a 4 lane change on Route 495 in the rain during rush hour - didn't quite make it over in time before the exit ramp ended. ran into the concrete abuttment made the airbag pop. Considered this my crowning achievement.

21. 1993 Ford Probe - Attempted 90 degree hairpin turn at roughly 1 million miles an hour. Unexplainably lost control of the car and severed a telephone pole (cool) made the airbag pop (cooler) and suffered lacerations to the head (coolest). injured my passenger - Diane. I think this is when she decided to marry me. This was true; ly my masterpiece! Oh! and totalled the car.

22. 1989 Toyota Camry - Fell asleep at the wheel and ran off the road into a tree. Did extensive damage. Car was in the shop for 1 month. I thought practice made perfect, but I still haven't perfected sleep driving.

23. 1989 Toyota Camry - Rear ended a co-workers new truck after a volley ball game. She seemed a little too proud of the truck and besides, I wanted to talk to her.

24. 1989 Toyota Camry - Car was rear ended while mechanic was test driving it after fixing damage incurred by #22 above. I wasn't even driving. I think it is just my cars that are bad luck.


Well I think that concludes my numerous accidents. I know someone was probably wondering just how many I have been involved in. So 24 is the official count. Next up will be my moving violation offenses. I'm sure you will find that list just as lengthy. Luv, Kevin
