Ooh, Ooh, Yellow Lab!
Meet Maiko the yellow lab. Maiko was rescued from the pound in Attack! Attack!October of 1998. They found her with a dog collar but could not locate the original owner. She was born sometime in 1997, and she is a lab mix, about half the size (maybe a little more) of a normal lab. Very well trained, still puppyish and lots of fun. Maiko in Japanese is 'Geisha in training'. Not that Geisha is any more of a lady than Maiko.

She has mastered all the standard commands, but tends to ignore stay when a neighbor is nearby.  Her favorite trick is chasing Geisha. Oh, and trying to lick her paw off. A common problem with labs.
